Komodo National Park -  This natural reservation place is used to protect Komodo dragons, exotic ancient animals in Indonesia. Not only that, this national park has a super beautiful panorama. It's only natural if now this place starts a lot in the lyrics of domestic tourists.

Initially, the Komodo National Park was intended to protect only Komodo dragons. But over time developed more widely. Now this natural reservation place protects various animals as well as other natural environments, as well as being a recommended tourist spot.

Location of Komodo National Park
Komodo National Park is located between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores. Located on the border between the province of East Nusa Tenggara and West Nusa Tenggara.

At first, I thought that this national park only exists on the Komodo island. Apparently not. The area that is included in this natural reservation is really extensive. The total area is estimated at 2321 square kilometers.

Not only Komodo Island, Rinca Island and Padar Island also enter this conservation area. To go to this national park area, you have to go to Labuan Bajo on Flores, or to Bima on Sumbawa. From there it is only heading to the national park area.

History of Komodo Island
Komodo, also known as Komodo Dragon, began to be widely known among world biologists in 1911 after a report from JKH Van Steyn to Peter Ouwens, curator of the zoological museum at that time.

Officially, the Komodo National Park was established in 1980. Because of its uniqueness, starting from 1986 this area also became one of the World Heritage Site and Man and Biosphere Reserve set by UNESCO.

Pink Beach Komodo Island
Pink beach is also a spot visited by many tourists. This unique beach is pink because many coral reefs are the same color. Because of the waves, some of the coral reefs are eroded and mixed with beach sand. The result, a unique and beautiful beach that has a pink color.

Around Loh Liang, there are tourist huts, places to eat and souvenirs, information centers, and so on.

Rinca Island
Rinca Island is usually a tourist destination. Because the island is smaller, here visitors can see Komodo more quickly. The main destination and tourist gate on Rinca Island is at Loh Buaya.

Just like other places, the landscape of Rinca Island is no less beautiful.

Sometimes our arrival at the dock is greeted by views of some wild Komodo dragons. Not far from the pier, there are guard posts and conservation. We can buy entry tickets here, and trekking through the area guided by experienced Komodo dragons.

Padar Island
Padar island area began to rise to become the main destination in the Komodo National Park. It's only natural, the scenery on Padar Island is really beautiful!

To enjoy the beauty of the island in full, you must go up to the hill first. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes - 1 hour, depending on body strength.

This island has hilly contours and very exotic shapes. There are three unique beaches; the beach where boats take off anchors, beaches with black sand, and beaches with little pink sand like pink beaches on the island of Komodo. All of these beaches can be seen off the hill.
